Anne Samat, Che Yah (Greatest Love), 2019

Join us in celebration of Anne Samat’s first solo exhibition in the United States. In her new body of iconic wall hangings, Samat has seamlessly blended intricate textiles and found objects into woven totems to her family members, starting with Samat’s mother and working down three generations to her first nephew. Samat is widely considered to be among the most important artists emerging in Asia. All works were created during her three month residency in Peekskill, NY. Artist will be present.
